Camping Round 1- Riley Creek

This was the first of just 2 camping trips for us this year. It was our first time to Riley Creek which is settled along Priest River near Sandpoint. Its a great little spot. This trip was very spontaneous and was highly unorganized. When we cooked burgers for dinner, we had to use a spoon to flip them. Yes I had forgotten a spatula, among other things, yet those were some of the most delicious burgers I've ever had. And a great trip as well. Sometimes I guess it CAN be okay to go with the flow...... :)

Kason made leaps and bounds in his bravery in the water this year!! Soon, I can bet he will be ready to surf solo!!

How did I capture both Nick and Connor in the same pose?? Love it:)

I dont know how I missed the photo op of Kohen surfing. I must have been wrestling the monster child or something. But he surfed too, and rocked it as usual!!!!!

Nick getting a 'real' ride, solo

Mini cereal boxes are a staple when camping with the Pintlers!!!

The walker seriously saved my life on this trip.
Oh how I miss the walker and its ability to contain the beast child

We made Kash his own little private 'lake' to swim in. This was our first indication of how much this baby LOVES to play in the water. He was so content and so happy to just sit and play an splash!

The boys prepping for their little excursion

Kash and I chillin on the boat with uncle Connor

Nick was being his silly self practicing some ninja skills in his wet suit..... see what I put up with??

Paddling the boys over to jump off rocks

Watching daddy jump in, they went next. Loved this little experience!

Great trip! Definitely one for the books!!

4th of July Celebration

The 4th of July was celebrated by a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa Kenworthy's house followed by the annul firework party at our house, one of the perks to being an Idaho resident:) It was a fun day!

Me and my honey

Great grandpa Roger put together some American history memorabilia.
Kason thought it was pretty cool:)

Kohen and Marley. Wish I could go back in time to wash his face!! :)

Marley and the Pintler boys. Love how this turned out!

All because 2 people fell in love........ :)

Me and one of my lover boys

Kohen impressed with the sparkler, even in the daylight

Nick let Kason light fireworks this year..... aaaand so it begins....

Looks as if Kohen is lighting Nicks butt on fire :) he even looks a little bit mischievous.

Kashton Jack and Grandpa Jack

Grandma Lori. Love this pic

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!

June Re-Cap

Going back in time for a moment here to play catch up on some great summer highlights. These memories go way back into June when the weather just started getting nice enough to play outside. We had a few outdoor fires that month and Kason really enjoyed the chance to use a hatchet. He had a great time chopping wood. Love his cute face!

Poor little Kohen was sick with one of his unexplained fevers this night. Trying to be a good sport though! Love this boy!

Look closely.....Kashtons 3rd tooth that sprouted, first one on top, was a fang. His grin was so cute (well still is) when he just had his one snarl tooth. Wish the camera would have captured bit better!!

Handsome and growing!!

He started showing interest in feeding himself. Ever since he LOVES any chance to use his own utensils. Needless to say, strained foods are literally off the table now. The mess was horrendous. Finger food all the way for this lil man. We joke that he is a professional eater. I mean, just look at him!!!

A random morning capturing their cute faces playing legos

LOVING the ninjago sets he got for his bday (see previous post for a glimpse into the obsession)!!

Kason is always so helpful to Kash!

Exploring the yard, yes eating at the same time. It is constant with this kid!

Pool Time!
We got a 3ft deep pool this year, and it turned out to be the best purchase ever!! The boys had SO much fun and made so many memories this summer!! Here is one of the first warm enough days to swim. Water was still freezing until mid-July though!!

Kashton in his own little splash pool

Kashton Cruising in the cozy coupe!! He loves this thing just as much as Kason and Ko did at this age:)

The big boys looking spiffy on their way to a friends bday party!

Love the handsome one in the back:)

Boating!!!!
We unfortunately didnt get to play on the boat as much as we would have liked to this year due to Nicks busy work schedule. But when we did get a chance to go, we sure had a lot of fun!!!

Kashy-boo driving

Kohen floating in his raft. How cute is his face?!

Kason Love

Kashton is OBSESSED with his daddy.....And the feeling is mutal:) Even though, it does look a bit like Nick is glaring at the camera, they were having a cute little playtime:)

And that wraps up the month of JUNE!!!!
Good times!

Kason is 6!

Yes late, but cant go without posting! My oldest little guy turned 6 on June 17th. It is so hard to believe he is so old! He had such a fun party and we were lucky the weather cooperated that day so we could hold the wild festivities outdoors. His obsession at the time was Lego Ninjago which was the inspiration for the party. Turned out pretty cute, I think he will have some good memories of this bday which makes all the work worth it!! Here are the highlights:

Loved how the Ninjago cupcakes turned out!!

 Pinata Time!!

This of Kohen broke my heart. He was so jealous of Kasons gifts

Happy Ko, I like this face much better

He LOVED his new sword
